How SMOOTHLIPO™ Works
The SmoothLipo™ System uses proprietary technology to reshape and re-contour your problem areas. This minimally invasive procedure uses continuous wave laser energy to gently and uniformly heat subcutaneous fat to cause its destruction.
This heat also leads to a retraction of the collagen fibers in the surrounding tissue, making the skin look and feel tighter. Clinical studies1 have shown that for several months following the procedure, fat cells continue to die off and collagen is regenerated, resulting in a new and confident you!
The SmoothLipo procedure requires only one session. The time to complete the procedure depends on the area that is being treated. Your physician can provide you with this information during your consultation. The SmoothLipo procedure can be performed in conjunction with traditional liposuction because it targets smaller pockets of localized fat which may be difficult to treat using traditional liposuction.
